EU COC's - Was ist verfügbar?

EdO-77
Hallo!

Wahrscheinlich 1997-2000 S3-6 Impreza STI Typ R / RA.

cheers for the warm welcome smile

Anmeldung Type-R Vers. 6 - unmöglich? Hilfe!

but yes, i also hope lee will have some good ideas. I have sent my local TÜV an email (after one very unhelpful phonecall!) as well as subaru DE and i am speaking with an importer in the UK as well.

cheers

Ok... Subaru UK confirmed I can get a COC for a P1 (as long as i actually have a P1) and TÜV have confirmed that a P1 COC cannot be used for an imported type R.

Still leaves the question: HOW you guys are getting imports through TÜV ?? as in specific details? I dont wont to buy a car and have to figure it all out myself, with my shit german leading the way! lol!

cheers

Sorry Ed, i cant be of any help regarding the registration of a Type R over here, what you have written above regarding the P1 is correct. The P1 doesn't have a GC8 chassis code either.

Speak to Helmut, he was the first person over here to register a Type R on these Forums, maybe he can give you an address of where he got everything done. I did have the required address but seem to have mislaid it. All i can remember is a Dr Strauß from the Stuttgart area.

Regarding your questions over at the RA Forums:

The differences between the P1 and type R were first and foremost to get a coupé European conform. Here are a list of changes.

Rear Lights Euro (Fog light).
Mirrors do not electricity fold.
Drivers lights at the front instead of Fog lights
Sti reprogrammed the ECU for Euro emissions without power loss.
DCCD Removed and replaced with ABS
Push button AC removed and replaced with a normal AC system
Longer 5th Gear
Prodrive Spoiler package designed by McLaren
Prodrive Alloys (O.Z Racing)
Prodrive Suspension set-up
COC Doc with "Super-car" status
Limited too 1000, all cars are numbered
Only Car ever made by Prodrive to go into production.

Some had options called the WR Package:

Optional Alcon brakes
18" Alloys
Recaro half leather seats

Hope that helps a little.
