Hi Lee thanks for the welcome to the yellow world
Yes we did speak on Scoobynet a few years back. I now have a life in both countries with the subaru mainly living in England.
I helped a German subaru owner define the safe spec for modifing his car and suggested Simon mapped it. And then thought, well if Simon comes over to make it worth his while I will see if there are any other German subaru owners that would like there cars maped.
So I joined here and posted up the link below. No problem to me if it happens or not, but it would be a good way to meet German Subaru owners and perhaps help a few out...we shall see.
Cheers
Steve

Markus dine english ist sehr gut
I first met Simon before he was mapping cars and he lives near me in England and has helped me out on a few occasions. My car has been mapped by Bob Rawle, who is also an excellent mapper. Simon has also mapped it as well.
I do not drive at Time Attack. The car will go on track a fair bit next year.
The main problem for me is the expense. My very good friend has a fully track prepared 420hp Evo 6 RS and I was talking to him as he wants to enter the Evo sprint series next year, but he also doesnt know if he will have the money.
I know of Matthias but have never spoken to him. Talking to people with time attack cars and other highly modified cars was useful for me when it came to working out how to do my car, as everyone has different ideas on how to do things.
Cheers
Steve

Hi, Steve and a warm welcome!
Great mods you did! One of the main-problems IMHO of the 2,5-engine are the HG-failures. Seems, you solved that problem? Tell us some details, we´re all interested!
Regards
Chris (driving Lee´s former GT)
